A Few Words About Us
Bonn to bake is home style Punjabi-South Asian-Canadian cuisine and bakery, always with a fusion twist. Small batches, handmade, fresh ingredients, bold flavours.
Chef Prabhjot (Sandy) created Bonn to Bake as an ode to the immigrant experience. Flavours from prabhjot’s childhood melds with his passion for comfort food classics that evoke a feeling of nostalgia. Since coming to Canada Prabhjot worked at a Indian restaurant and always stayed in touch with his true passion of cooking which comes from a generation of chefs as his father and grandfather back in India also run a catering business. Prabhjot being the third generation is adding a new fusion twist to all the traditional dishes.
Baker Smeeksha– Passion of cooking for her is new found , after her marriage with Prabhjot she wanted to be part of the family truly and started her journey of learning how to bake cakes , along with her creativity and passion for baking she quickly mastered the art of customized cakes made to client’s need.
Together they want to be the “taste couple of Sudbury” and help you cherish your favourite punjabi-south Asian dishes with a modern twist
